Callen Construction and Callen Design Group to Host and Sponsor 4th Annual “ReFashion for Life” Charity Fashion Show

Proceeds Support CommonGround Ministry/Elena’s House

MUSKEGO, WI – Callen Construction, Inc., a family-owned, full-service home improvement and remodeling company in Muskego, Wis., and Callen Design Group, specializing in the design and construction of kitchens, bathrooms, basement remodels, and attic renovations, announced they will again serve as the presenting sponsors for the fourth annual “ReFashion for Life” benefiting CommonGround Ministry/Elena’s House.

The benefit will be held Thurs., Sept. 22, from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Callen’s Muskego Showroom and company grounds, S63 W13131 Janesville Road.  Kohler Co. will also serve as a major event sponsor.

The event will feature a fashion show combining the latest in fashion with fashionable products for the home, including countertops, cabinetry, windows and doors, kitchen and bath products, floor coverings, and hardware.  Kohler Co. and StarMark Cabinetry will provide many of the featured home improvement and remodeling products.

In addition to the runway show, there will also be a silent and voice auction featuring entertainment and sporting tickets, boutique certificates, and more.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be provided by Saz’s Catering, in addition to music by Mr. Lucky Light.

Participants in the event include Bjorn Nasett, Education Director of Beauty, an East Side/Downtown salon and contributing writer to Milwaukee Magazine.  Nasett will be coordinating the fashion show, as well as serve as the emcee.

Free event parking is at the Hales Corners Lutheran Church, just east of the Callen showroom on Janesville road, with complimentary shuttle service to the Callen grounds.  There is no parking available at the Callen showroom during the event.

Tickets are $50 and are on sale at www.refashionforlife.com.  All proceeds support the programs offered by CommonGround Ministry/Elena’s House in Wauwatosa, which provides physical, spiritual, and emotional support to people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.  Elena’s House, offering a holistic ministry that is both personal and communal, is a home for four to five people that wish to reside in a safe and supportive living environment.  CommonGround Ministry is a 501(c)3 organization funded through the contributions of individuals, organizations, and foundations.
