Last night, the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Florida Marlins by a score of 4-1 before a sellout crowd of 44,584 fans here in Milwaukee. Because the Chicago Cubs defeated the St. Louis Cardinals last night 5-1, the Milwaukee Brewers have won the National League Central Division title.
It's the first time the Brewers have won their division since 1982, when they won the AL East Division before going on to lose to the Cardinals in the World Series.
