I always wondered if they were actually going to get around to making that movie of World War Z. I read the book a few years back when it came out and loved it. I was already a fan of Max Brooks because of him writing the Zombie Survival Guide. I loved how he took such a practical approach to it all and made it seem like he was writing it for us to really use. My hope is that I never have to use any of those survival skills I've picked up from that book.
I'm constantly on my Clear Greensboro checking movie blogs to see what they're saying about the filming of the World War Z movie. To say that I'm excited about it is a vast understatement and I'm really looking forward to all of it.
I guess that I'm also one of those avid Max Brooks fans that hopes that they stay true to his book as much as they can without sacrificing the quality of a movie. You can't expect for them to stick exactly to the book for all movies. There's a reason that certain things work in a book that don't work in films and vice versa, but there are some great ways to reconcile that.
