Natural Remedies For Back Pain

Back pain is one of the most common ailments. It is important to know the cause of your back pain, in order to treat it.

A common cause of lower back pain is inflammation. The discs in the spine that cushion the bones to protect them from damage can get worn down over time. The inflammation irritates the nerves in the spine. Once the nerves are irritated, the muscles attached to the nerves can start to cause spasms.

It is important to address the inflammation as quickly as possible. A very effective natural anti-inflammatory is bromelain. Bromelain is an enzyme that is made from pineapples. It is one of the best pain remedies I have found.

There are many natural remedies for pain. If you cannot try bromelain, ginger root is a good option. You will need to take more tablets of ginger than bromelain. Ginger is a natural COX 2 inhibitor. In other words, it relieves pain. It has no side effects. It also improves digestion.

Herbal plasters are another option to relieve pain. Herbal plasters can be bought at your local drug store. You can choose from a big variety of plasters.

An effective ingredient in many pain patches is menthol. Menthol works by increasing circulation to relieve pain. Blood flow is also improved.

Pain patches or herbal plasters can be used anywhere to relieve pain. They can also be used to relieve sinus pain or migraines by placing them on your forehead. They relieve pain by improving circulation.

Another option to relieve pain is pain relieving creams. My favorite cream is boswellin. Boswellin has been used for thousands of years to treat a wide variety of diseases. It works as a natural pain reliever and anti-inflammatory.
