Finding the Right Level of Success with YouTube

By Angel Travaglio

If you want to do well with video marketing and YouTube, then you really do need to have a purpose and understand what you are doing. You can flounder just like the fish if you go into it thinking you know all about it and do not. The purpose of the following article is to give you a clear idea on how you leverage YouTube in the best possible way.

There are various stages at which your video has to get attention, and for now we will talk about how to avoid the undesirable factor when people watch your videos. There are lots of successful videos that were made without the use of any video camera. There are hundreds of thousands of videos uploaded on YouTube on a regular basis, and a majority of these aren't shot with a good camera, which is why you should try to use to give real value to your viewers. But if you want to shoot real video, then that is different and you should make it decent quality and not grainy, etc.

The more numbers of subscribers you have for your YouTube channel, the more repeat traffic you'll get to your videos. You can test out the effectiveness of subscribing to other channels within your niche. If there are not really too many similar channels, then this approach loses effectiveness. Besides this, when you're promoting your YouTube channel, make sure that you remind your viewers to subscribe to stay updated. Also, when you're posting about your YouTube channel on your blog, don't just link to the channel directly - add the word subscribe besides the link to your channel so that people know that they should be subscribing.

Another strategy worth testing, at least, is toward the end of a video, be sure to solicit feedback and give a call to action to comment. People love videos of themselves, for the most part, and therefore entreating them to give you a video response may cause a landslide of replies. Look at your viewers as your own social media community, and that is what you want to create.

The power of videos and YouTube are still going quite strong, so you might as well put it to work for you.
