What You Can Do to Increase User Friendly Browsing

By Shawana Carse

If you'll just take action to develop a user centric site for your business, then you will see a difference. A site that offers no impediments to visitors makes everything easier for them as well as you. What you do is the most important thing, and you can get a real edge if you take the time with this. If you take the time to discover recommendations for making a site more user friendly, then you'll be on your way.

Today is just the beginning of another part of your journey in online marketing, so let's get started.

By now you know that it's important to prove that you're different than everybody else.

Always have some kind of offer on your home page, at least, and you do not always need to have it in the main content column. Don't forget that if you're doing SEO, you now want to minimize the number of ads above the fold. Aside from that, make your offers very clear and super easy to understand, but remember you can place different sidebar offers on different pages, then test that. You can offer something like a special one-time promo or an incentive to join your mailing list. Your images used for ebooks and ads are important, but you know that copy is what it comes down to in the end.

You can help to protect yourself with policy pages for privacy and other concerns. Other information will be what is done with it and what the visitor can expect, and it's fine to edit that out or change it so it's more accurate, but the important point here is to have this policy on its own page. It really does not matter where you put them, more or less, so this is your decision. The most important thing for any webmaster is to make use of admin pages as it is more professional. Making your business blog user friendly is a high ROI effort because that's what it can lead to. And consider that a site which is difficult to use will not hold your visitors for very long. You need to get many things right aside from this issue, so it's not a silver bullet.
