Care to Help a Reporter Out?

I was on Facebook a few days ago (which, by the way, is not just a site for college drunks anymore) and saw an ad for a Web site called HARO, which stands for "Help a Reporter Out." The address for this site is http://www.helpareporter.com/.

In a nutshell, HARO connects everyday professionals like you and me with reporters working for both traditional print and online news publications who are looking to quote you as sources for their articles!

You may read a news article and wonder where or how the reporter found the professional(s) s/he is quoting for expertise purposes in the article. Well, it looks like this is one of the places where the reporter found his/her source(s).

So check it out! This site looks very promising, just like Global Talk Radio, another promising site I just happened to stumble upon some weeks back.
