We all make New Year's resolutions, and, admittedly, usually don't follow them anyway. But here's one you may want to act on. The year is still in its infancy, so there's plenty of time to make this happen:
This year, resolve to reconnect with as many fellow professionals as you can that you lost touch with last year for whatever reason. And it happens to the best of us, including me. You meet someone at a networking group or event, you seem to hit it off nicely, have a great 1-on-1, and then you simply lose touch. It's easy for this to happen. We simply get bogged down with work, plus we're constantly meeting new people, so it's easy to let someone slip through the cracks from time to time.
So make this your New Year's resolution. By not acting on this one, you may be leaving opportunities, creative ideas, and hefty moola on the table!
